Marina is an Egyptian American trilingual singer based in Austin, TX, specializing in Arabic and world music. Born in Cairo, she was a member of the Coptic Orthodox Girls' Choir from ages 6 to 19, where she trained in Coptic and traditional Egyptian music. She is the lead vocalist of Indimaj and a singer and frame drum player with the Middle Eastern Ensemble at UT Austin. Marina has performed internationally with Atash at the Granada International Music and Dance Festival and founded her own group, Ghandoura Band, in 2024. She has recorded albums with musicians across Austin, Jordan, and Spain and is mentored by Nai Barghouti and Hani Al-Dahshan.
